My first BLOG

This is my very first Blog. Kristy sent me her page and it is really nice to be able to see her kids and how her life is changing. I can't promise how often I will be on updating it, but I will do my best. I hope to get Jolise and Audrey on one too. Jolise lives in Arizona and Audrey lives in Maine. So, it would be nice to see them too.

Today was a typical Monday. Noone wanted to get up after staying up late on the weekend. But, as they always do, The kids were out the door on time with hugs and kisses and lots of warm clothes. We had our first snowfall last night. It wasn't much, but enough to cover the roofs on the houses and make it nice and slippery for the morning commute.

Alex had his third doctors appointment this afternoon. Six weeks ago, he fell out of a tree at our friends house. He is almost healed, but the doc says he should still wear his splint when he is outdoors playing rough. PJ's reportcard was awesomw!! All A's and great citizenship remarks. Meg has made alot of friends and is also doing great in school. It is so strange having the children of my childhood friends being my child's best friend. Zach is in preschool, and after everything I went through with him in daycare, I was terrified of him starting school. To my surprise, he is doing awesome. He always asks Grandma, who takes him to school for me, if she will wait in the parking lot until school is over. She gently tells him that she promises "Mom or I will be here to get you after school!". Jennifer, who is also a childhood friend, has a son in Zach's preschool. They love playing together.

Zach is a really good bargainer. I think I have taught him a bad thing! Every time he doesn't want to do something, he tries to compromise. Most of the time, it's ok, but at bedtime, he tries everything to sleep with me still. If I had a bigger bed, it wouldn't be a problem, but I only have a twin and he is getting so big. Oh, well, it is now 11:15 and I am usually in bed by now. Goodnight

Becky!!! I am so happy you made a blog! I'm jealous about your snowfall! Not the slippery part, but the light covering of snow on all the rooftops sounds so beautiful to me! I am so happy that the kids are doing well. What happened with Zach when he was in preschool? Did he cry alot?
